No More Dish TV

I got an email from Dish today that my service had been cancelled.  I cancelled it last week.  The television and peripheral electronics were transferred to my ex-wife’s house on Tuesday.  The kids are quite happy about that.  My living room looks a little bigger with it being gone.  I don’t even miss it.  There’s so much noise on TV.  Why watch it?  I still have my Netflix account which I can watch on my iPad; which I haven’t done in a while.  I still have much emptying of the house to do.  Almost all of my ham radio gear is sold.  In the morning I am hoping that the rest of it will be sold.  I sold all my pots, pans, and other kitchen gadgets to Marian Calder from church.  I had no idea that I had as much kitchen stuff as I had until it was on the kitchen floor for display.  Thanks Marian for supporting the cause!  I gave Rosie Haverkamp a poster detailing “Things to Do.”  She was quite pleased.  OK, time to go to Cursillo group reunion.  I need all the support I can get for the next several weeks.
